The room was almost completely dark, except for the tiny lights scattered through the air. She stood beneath them for a moment, letting the soft glow fall across her hair and outfit. The black-and-pink combination felt playful against the mysterious surroundings. A large bow rested at her waist, adding a sweet detail to the otherwise dark look. She smiled, turned toward the lights, and stayed there a little longer than planned. Sometimes the simplest evenings become the ones we remember most.
